2. Lambanog

Lambanog, a traditional Filipino distilled coconut liquor which has an alcohol content between 40 to 45%, was responsible for three deaths in Bulacan in 2019. To quell public unrest, the owner of Jimmy’s Lambanog drank the alcohol on live television to prove its safety in a personal way.
