That’s not the only thing Sung Hanbin has captured ARMYs’ attention for lately. Many are now discovering that he was previously a backup dancer for BTS! He has been spotted in BTS’s iconic performance of “Dionysus” at The 2019 Melon Music Awards.

If there was any question about whether it was really him, Hanbin confirmed that he had been a backup dancer for both BTS and Wanna One on Jonathan‘s KStarNextDoor. He even performed “Dionysus” again and said, “BTS, I grew up well!”

You can see Sung Hanbin perform as a backup dancer during both Wanna One’s “Boomerang” performance at The 2018 SBS Gayo Daejeon and BTS’s “Dionysus” performance at The 2019 Melon Music Awards.
The BTS backup dancer to K-Pop idol pipeline is very real! Just a few examples include Stray Kids’ Lee Know, MustB‘s Sihoo, and now ZEROBASEONE’s Sung Hanbin. Check out more below.
