LE SSERAFIM made their successful debut in May 2022 and have officially made two comebacks since, releasing their first full-length album UNFORGIVEN on May 1, 2023.
Though their dance for their debut song “Fearless” left an impression with its memorable point choreography, they truly showed their strength in synchronicity and their ability to pull off difficult choreography with their dance for “ANTIFRAGILE.”
They’ve since wowed netizens with their choreography for their new songs, their year-end award show performances, and more.
Recently, LE SSERAFIM’s Sakura opened up to Weverse Magazine to spill on the group’s most memorable performances and what she considers to be their most technically difficult choreography to date.
For Sakura, she’s pushed herself to improve with each performance, and FEARNOTs and netizens have noticed her incredible growth over the years and her increased confidence.
Sakura’s favorite performance so far was at the Melon Music Awards, which had the group surrounded by talented backup dancers as they performed with mesmerizing stage effects like lasers and fire.
The best performance I ever put on was at the Melon Music Awards. Whenever I watch it, I think, Wow, look at me! I should try to do it just like that next time! Now it’s my go-to video.

While their songs “ANTIFRAGILE” and “UNFORGIVEN” are known for their high-energy dances, Sakura doesn’t consider them to have the group’s most technically difficult choreography.
Songs like “ANTIFRAGILE” and “UNFORGIVEN” (feat. Nile Rodgers) are all about the energy, whereas “Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard’s wife” is more technically challenging. I’ve talked with the other members about how it’s our most difficult song.

To prepare for it, she revealed that she and Kazuha practiced one step nonstop for an hour, but they learned the choreography more quickly overall, thanks to all of their year-end performance preparations.
Zuha and I spent an hour practicing just one step nonstop. I could barely walk the next day. I guess we must have improved while working on the year-end performances because we quickly got our steps in sync even though we didn’t have as much time to work on it as in the past. Now I’m confident about our group’s ability to perform.

Despite the extra time and effort it takes to learn their difficult choreography, the group knows it’s worth it to give a unique performance only LE SSERAFIM can show.
It was tough practicing but I think they’re songs and dances that only LE SSERAFIM could pull off.
