With its summer release date approaching, excitement for Greta Gerwig‘s Barbie movie is at an all-time high.

Thanks to Barbie, pink fashion is making a flashy comeback with barbiecore: a nostalgic aesthetic that embraces glam, sparkles, statement heels, and more.

Unsurprisingly, barbiecore shares some similarities with BLACKPINK‘s color palette and stylish stage outfits.

Although Margot Robbie is the best possible casting choice for Barbie, fans can easily imagine BLACKPINK’s Rosé in the role too. From her statuesque proportions to her doll-like facial features and signature blonde hair, Rosé has been rocking barbiecore before barbiecore was a thing.

One of her most iconic pink looks is this Pink Charro dress by No Name Industries, which retails for $1,122.35 USD.

This dress, paired with ballet-like high heels, mixes glam with a bold, punk aesthetic.

Margot Robbie wore a tightly fitted, bubblegum pink dress for her cover shoot with Vogue. Like Rosé’s dress, hers was made from materials that gave it a plastic, doll-esque look. Rosé’s, however, fell under the “punk princess” umbrella while Margot Robbie’s leans towards pageant.
