Winnie Zhong, also known by her Chinese name Zhong Feifei, is a Chinese-Congolese entertainer that competed on Produce Camp 2020 (also known as CHUANG 2020), China’s idol audition program as a trainee under Egg World Entertainment.
The singer performed well throughout the program but was ultimately eliminated during the show’s 9th episode and ranked 27 out of 101. Throughout her time on the show, she quickly became an international fan favorite, though she often faced racist harassment on social media platforms.
After her elimination, many wondered where Winnie would end up and if they would continue to see her perform. Prior to her appearance on the show, the multi-talented artist studied at Boston University and was pursuing her graduate degree at Johns Hopkins University, where she studied Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism.
In addition to this, she also speaks Chinese, English, Swahili, and French meaning she could pursue a variety of careers including many outside of the entertainment industry.
Lucky for fans, Winnie has remained active in the Entertainment industry!
In November 2020, she released her first single “B.U.R.N” followed by a Christmas-themed single titled “Christmas Coming.”
She has also been active as a model and attended the Louis Vuitton SS22 fashion show in Shanghai in late 2021. Winnie also was a part of Fenty Beauty’s activities in China and modeled for Vogue x MAC Cosmetics.
She has also been photographed for Vogue China several times including appearing as part of the cover story for the September 2021 edition. Winnie also made history yet again by holding the first editorial shoot in the Democratic Republic of the Congo for Vogue China’s October 2022 edition.
In 130 yrs of Vogue, we made the first editorial shoot in Congo with a full Congolese team/designers. Amazed and grateful for everyone behind this. More on Vogue China Oct 2022 issue pic.twitter.com/hO7B5Tk2Ly

While she has not posted on her YouTube account for a few months, Winnie also shared several vlogs on her channel Feifei Zhong, including when she met up with some of the other Produce Camp trainees.
Winnie is most active on her social media accounts where she posts her unfiltered thoughts and many daily updates.
From mini-vlogs showing her vacations and travel to the storytimes revealing details about her experience on the survival show, her TikTok account, @zhongfeifei5, seems to be the best way of keeping up with her day-to-day activities as she shares them!
